Chapter-4 Asp.Net MVC Action

Asp.Net MVC Action : is responsible to execute the request and responsible for its response. It generate the response in the form of ActionResult.

Request Processing
1)      When ever any URL arrives it is configured within the routing Table who knows How to handle the URL request

Chapter-3 Life Cycle of Asp.Net MVC

The life of an HTTP request as it travels through the MVC framework in ASP.NET.

MVC has two life cycles:
1.       The application life cycle: refer to the time at which the application process actually begins running IIS until the time it stops.
2.       The request life cycle : every MVC application begins with routing. It is responsible for matching the incoming URL to routes that we define in our application. All routes have an associated route handler .

Chapter-2 Developing web Application Using Asp.Net MVC

Introduction to the MVC Development Platform

1)      The MVC development platform separates the application data, the presentation, and the flow of application, into three separate components:
i)        The model
ii)       The view
iii)     The controller
b)      The model:
i)        Manages the application data.
ii)       Encapsulates data stored in a database as well as code used to manipulate the data.
c)       The view manages the display of information.
d)      The controller:
i)        Manages the flow of application.
ii)       Handles user input.
iii)     Provides data to the relevant view.

Chapter-1 Introduction to Web Application Development using MVC

Visual Studio .NET allows you to create applications that can access World Wide Web. With help of traditional HTML pages which can run on intranet or internet using business-to-business applications providing Web-based components that can exchange data using XML.

Asp.Net web application work, the part of a web application, how the Microsoft .NET Framwork is organized and how to use the Microsoft Visual Studio .NET programming environment.

Chapter-7 Managing Transactions

Processing Transaction
A Transaction in is a group of Commands that change the data source in a database. The transaction which is treated as Single unit and assures the commands will run sequentially .

1)      Ado.Net transaction  can be defined as a sequence of operations that are performed together as a single logical unit of work.
2)      If a transaction is successful, all the data modifications performed in the database will be committed and saved.
3)      If a transaction fails or an error occurs, then the transaction is rolled back to undo the data modifications done in the database.

Chapter-6 Handling BLOB and CLOB in ADO.NET

Handling Binary Large Objects in a Database

1)      While working with data, you may need to move large objects (LOB) between the client application and the database server.
2)      LOBs are of different formats:
a)      Binary Large Object (BLOB): If a LOB is stored in a database in a binary format, it is referred to as BLOB.
b)      Character Large Object (CLOB): If a LOB is stored in the database in a textual format, it is referred to as CLOB.

Chapter-5 New Conecpts in Datasets and Datatables

An ADO.NET DataSet contains a collection of zero or more tables represented by DataTable objects. The DataTableCollection contains all the DataTable objects in aDataSet. A DataTable is defined in the System.Data namespace and represents a single table of memory-resident data.

Chapter-4 Working with Data Adapters

Data Adapters

1)      Data adapters are an integral part of ADO.NET managed providers, which are the set of objects used to communicate between a data source and a DataSet
2)      Data adapters forms an interface between the application and the data source from retrieving and saving data.
3)      A data adapter handles data transfer between the database and the DataSet through its properties and methods, and displays data through the process of table mapping.
4)      A data adapter is integral to the working of ADO.NET because data is transferred to and from a database through a data adapter.
5)      A data adapter retrieves data from a database into a DataSet.

Chapter-3 Introducing Connected and Disconnected Environment in ADO.NET

Introducing Connected and Disconnected Environment
1)      A connected environment is one in which a user or an application is constantly connected to a data source.
2)      A connected environment provides the following advantages:
a)      Data concurrency issues are easier to control.
b)      Data is current and updated.

3)      A connected environment has the following disadvantages:
a)      A constant network connection may, sometimes, lead to network traffic logging.
b)      Scalability and performance issues in applications.
4)      In a disconnected environment is one in which a user or an application is not directly connected to a data source.
5)      A disconnected environment provides the following advantages:
a)      Allows multiple applications to simultaneously interact with the data source.
b)      Improves the scalability and performance of applications.

Did you know What is the base of C#?

Did you know What is the base of C#?
We all know What is C# but donot know basics concept in Csharp . In below section I have tried to explain you some basics of CSharp.

Using Blocks of Code
By enclosing the statements between opening and closing curly braces.Once the block has been created it became logically one unit

  Console.WriteLine(“welcome to C#”);

Chapter-2 ADO.NET

Difference between ADO and ADO.NET

1) In Memory representation of Data:- ADO use a record set to represent data that is retrieved from table in memory whereas ADO.NETuse datasets. ADO use data from a single table to retrieve the data from multiple table we have to use Join . But in ADO.NET , we use dataset can store data from multiple table . Dataset represent the structure of a database .
ADO provides read only data on recordsets which allows you to navigate sequentially through the rows of recordset. In ADO.NET rows are represented as collections.

Chapter-1 ADO.Net Entity Framework

ADO.NET is a model used by .NET applications to communicate with a database for retrieving, accessing, and updating data. This module will provide the necessary skills to the students to work as a database application developer in the industry.
.NET Framework enables you to create data centric application that enable you to access data from  various data sources in heterogeneous environment using ADO.NET.

Runtime type ID and Reflection

Runtime type ID is the mechanism that lets you identify a during the execution program. Reflection is the feature that enables you to obtain information about a type with the help of this you can create the object at runtime. Attribute describes a characteristic of some element in C#.
